About Aurixs

Engineers who have run the plant

Aurixs Asset Management & Engineering is a global asset management and engineering firm, built on more than a decade of operational delivery across African and European industry.

Who we are

One discipline, applied properly

Aurixs was built by engineers who spent their careers inside operating plants — planning shutdowns, chasing repeat failures, arguing for spares budgets and explaining to production why the mill was down again. That experience shapes everything about how we work.

We are the global brand of a business that has served industrial clients from South Africa since its founding, operating regionally as Yakhani AME. Aurixs carries the same engineering team, standards and delivery record into international markets, alongside the Aurixs Platform for asset intelligence.

Our work spans mining, energy, process industry, manufacturing, water and infrastructure — and reaches from readying a new plant for its first production run to extending the life of assets that were commissioned before some of our engineers were born.

Capability & standards

How we hold ourselves to account

Asset management has mature international frameworks. We work within them — not as certification theatre, but because they encode what has been learned the expensive way.

  • ISO 55001
Asset management system principles guide our advisory work
  • GFMAM
Asset Management Landscape as the capability reference
  • ISO 14224
Equipment taxonomy and reliability data standards
  • ISO 12944
Protective coating systems for corrosion control

Evidence over assertion

Every recommendation traces to data, a failure mode or an engineering standard. If we cannot show the reasoning, we do not make the claim.

Built for the people who stay

Our deliverables are designed to be operated by your team long after we demobilise. Dependency is a failure mode, not a business model.

Honest about scope

If the problem is smaller than the engagement you are considering, we will say so. Long relationships are worth more than large first invoices.

Africa-rooted, globally capable

Deep operational experience in some of the world's most demanding operating environments, delivered to international standards.

The Aurixs Platform

Consulting and software, built together

Our platform was not designed by a software company guessing at asset management. It grew out of the same engagements described on this site — because every one of them ran into the same wall: nobody could trust the asset data.

  • Designed by practitionersShaped by engineers who needed it on live projects.
  • Standards-aligned by defaultISO 14224 taxonomy and criticality methodology built in.
  • Complementary to your EAMFeeds SAP PM, Maximo and others rather than competing with them.

Work with Aurixs.

Whether you need a diagnostic, a delivery team or a long-term reliability partner, the first conversation costs nothing but context.
